What is Pathways?

Pathways is a guide for the in-between. It helps you reflect on what matters, set goals that fit who you're becoming, and stay aligned through small daily check-ins. It is not a therapist, doctor, or counselor.

The companion gave me a strange or unhelpful response. What should I do?

Tap and hold the message in chat to send feedback, or email us with a screenshot. Companion responses are generated by AI and aren't always right, so your feedback genuinely helps us tune it.

How do I reset my goals or restart onboarding?

Open Settings, then Account, then Reset Onboarding. This clears your goals and brings you back to the welcome flow without deleting your account.

The app crashed or won't open.

First, force-quit and relaunch. If that doesn't work, restart your device. If it still won't open, email us with your device model and iOS version and we'll dig in.

How do I change my notification times?

Open Settings, then Notifications. You can pause everything, change reminder windows, or opt out of streak nudges.

Will my data sync across devices?

Your Pathways account works on any device you sign in to. Broader cross-device sync of your goals and history is coming.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Your conversations, journal entries, and goals are not used to train any AI model. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Delete your account

You can delete your account directly inside the app. No email required.

  1. Open Pathways
  2. Tap the Me tab
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm both prompts

This permanently removes your profile, goals, reflections, companion conversations, and progress data from our servers. The action cannot be undone.

Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. To stop billing, also open iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Pathways, Cancel.

If you can't access the app, email info@my-pathways.ai from the address on your account and we'll process the deletion within 30 days.

Export your data

You can download a JSON copy of your account data inside the app at Settings, Export My Data. The export includes your goals, reflections, companion messages, and progress history.

For a more complete export, including audit logs and analytics events, email info@my-pathways.ai with the subject line "Data Export Request". We'll respond within 30 days.

Subscriptions & billing

Pathways offers a free tier and a paid Pathways Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account.

Manage or cancel

Open iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Pathways. You can change plans, cancel, or restore purchases there.

Refunds

Refund requests for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of the charge.

Restore purchases

If your Pro features disappear after reinstalling or switching devices, open Settings, Restore Purchases in the app.
